San Biagio

Alta Langa Riserva

Blanc de noir – Flavourful, complex and harmonious.
The Elegance: 100% Pinot Noir with zero dosage.
Soft and savoury, with a very fine and creamy perlage, and a broad and persistent bouquet.

100% Pinot Noir, Guyot training with sustainable viticulture.

Soft pressing of the grapes – harvested manually in crates – and alcoholic fermentation at 14° C, soaking on fine lees.

A very slow re-fermentation in the bottle, characteristic of the Metodo Classico followed by 48 months bottle ageing.

Pinot Noir is able to express its peak when pure and after long stays on the lees. In order to respect these prerogatives, we exclusively produce our Alta Langa from Pinot Noir grapes as a zero-dosage Riserva.

Excellent as an aperitif, it is particularly suited with all seafood dishes. It is also enjoyable with starters, low-fat first courses, white meat recipes, with pastries.

Colour: Fine, creamy perlage with persistent mousse and a compact straw colour.
Nose: Full, intense and complex with hints of lime blossom, honey, ripe white-fleshed fruits evolving into fresh hay and citrus fruits. Pleasant mineral notes, bread crust and a touch of sugared almond in the finish.
Taste: Fragrant, intense and elegant, with hints of citrus and recalling the olfactory notes. Excellent freshness with a creamy structure and a long mineral aftertaste.
