We started 9 years ago by producing an Extra-Brut Classic Method 100% Pinot nero in rosè, we tried and tried, when it seemed to us that it could go well we asked to go to Alta Langa and we decided to produce our Alta Langa in a white style.
COMPOSITION OF THE CUVÉE: Typically: 100% Pinot nero
PRODUCTION TECHNIQUE: Direct grapes pressing only the free run and first light press are used for Alta Langa production. Steel tank fermentation at temperature controlled, than aging in steel until march when it is done the tirage. Aging in bottle sur lie for 36-42 months than degorgement “nature” without sugar addictions.
TASTING NOTES: Alta Langa La Fusina is an extremely pleasant wine with a creamy and persistent pérlage. Rich bouquet of toasted bread, apple, candied fruit, butter and spices. On taste the spume is well melted on wine, giving a unique mouthful sensation. Good acidity and saltiness let this Alta Langa adaptive to every day drinking and a unique food pairing!
FIRST VINTAGE PRODUCED: 2015
