Alta Langa MillesimatoD.O.C.G.
Obtained from Pinot Nero and Chardonnay grapes grown in Piedmont’s unique Alta Langa wine
country. Enrico Serafino’s top classic method sparkling wine spends 36 months maturing on the lees.
Varieties: Pinot Nero, Chardonnay.
Production area: Piedmont – The grapes are sourced from vineyards more than 300 metres above sea level in the Alta Langa hills.
Vinification: After soft-crushing, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The prise de mousse is obtained by the classic method of refermentation in bottle.
Maturation: In bottle for 36 months.
Star-bright straw yellow. Subtly harmonious bouquet of honey, summer flowers and yeasty, freshbaked bread. Fine bead of tiny, lingering bubbles and attractively dry, savoury palate.
Alcohol content: 12,5%.
Storage: A wine with sufficient structure to maintain its sensory profile for three or four years after degorgement. Store in a cool environment.
Food matchings: Excellent as an aperitif but equally well-suited to drink through the meal.
Serving temperature: 6-8 °C.
