Alta Langa Consortium Main Sponsor of the 95th Alba White Truffle International Fair

For the ninth consecutive year, the Alta Langa Consortium will take part as Main Sponsor at the Alba White Truffle International Fair, now in its 95th edition, running from October 11 to December 8.

The Alba White Truffle season officially begins on October 1, with the traditional Capodanno del Tartufo (“Truffle New Year’s Eve”) the night before. On September 30, the city of Alba celebrates the start of the truffle hunt with a symbolic and festive event, culminating in Piazza Risorgimento with a toast of Alta Langa DOCG sparkling wine.

The Alba White Truffle International Fair will welcome visitors starting Saturday, October 11, with access from the Cortile della Maddalena in Piazzetta Falcone. Inside the World Truffle Market, the beating heart of the Fair, visitors will have the opportunity to taste Alta Langa DOCG wines presented by the Consortium’s producers at the Enoteca.

During the cooking shows held in the Sala Beppe Fenoglio, renowned chefs will prepare live gourmet creations, illustrating ingredients and techniques while pairing their signature dishes dedicated to the Alba White Truffle with Alta Langa DOCG — the iconic traditional-method sparkling wines of Piedmont.

New in 2025: “Gourmet Sunsets – Aperitivi d’Eccellenza.”
This fresh format enriches the program with a refined Italian aperitivo experience: in an intimate and atmospheric setting, a celebrated chef prepares two culinary creations designed to pair perfectly with a glass of Alta Langa DOCG and a cocktail featuring Vermouth di Torino IGP and Alta Langa DOCG.

On Sunday, October 12 at 3:00 PM in the Sala Beppe Fenoglio, the Alta Langa DOCG workshop will take place: an in-depth tasting journey through the history, terroir, people, and four glasses of Piedmont’s finest sparkling wines. The tasting will be accompanied by Crudo di Cuneo DOP in a symbiosis of excellence.

This year’s Alba White Truffle International Fair is dedicated to the theme of Respect: for the environment and biodiversity that make the Alba White Truffle possible, for the animals that play a key role in the hunt, for the product itself, and for the consumers who deserve authenticity, transparency, and excellence. It is a vision that unites land, tradition, and gastronomy in a sustainable model of Italian excellence recognised worldwide.
