The passion of the Garesio family has evolved during the years, becoming a continuous research for the best and most suited places for wine production. Today the family run winery is producing around 85.000 bottles.
Garesio winery is located in Serralunga d’Alba, more precisely where the famous cru Cerretta meets cru Gianetto.
In Serralunga d’Alba there are Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir vineyards, with the latest planted in the cooler part of the estate, in order to produce the sparkling Alta Langa DOCG. In Castelnuovo Calcea, in the Monferrato region, the family has the Barbera vineyards.
Garesio follows strict procedures to manage their vineyards with sustainable and organic methods.
Quality starts in the vineyards, this is a cornerstone of the Garesio philosophy together with the deepest respect for the land and its terroir, trying not to interfere with the natural cycle of the plants and adapting every step to each vine.
On the oenological side the highlight is on territoriality of native grapes, making them stand out thanks to their uniqueness and peculiarity which can be appreciated in the wines.
