Bava

Since 1911, the Bava family has been active in the Piedmont wine industry, between Monferrato and the Langhe.

For the family, in-depth knowledge of both local and not local grape varieties goes hand in hand with research and a particular focus on elegance, precision and balance in their wines.

The family’s winemaking experience in traditional-method sparkling wine dates back to the late 1970s. From the very beginning of the denomination, the personal commitment of the Bava brothers to the development and promotion of the “Alte Bollicine Piemontesi” has been profound.

It is within this journey that the Bava Alta Langa DOCG takes shape, produced from estate-owned vineyards whose characteristics provide Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with ideal conditions to express wines of great finesse and complexity. The Bava Alta Langa project was born precisely from the desire to highlight the distinctive character of these vineyards.

The first Bava Alta Langa DOCG Brut Millesimato, aged for an extended period on its lees, embodies this approach through an essential style focused on longevity.
